Just for the record- It is something around ten years now since you "did your number" on my eyes. I still see just as well as I did shortly after the LASIK. I just had the impulse to tell you that I thank you for doing it! I love it that I can go outside at the ripe old age of 59.5 years and still see leaves on the trees a long way off! When I first came in for my procedure, I had no idea what to expect. I had been wearing glasses/contacts since fourth grade. I had gotten used to not being able to see people, expressions, you know the "little" things that matter, without my glasses. So much that sometimes I forgot even though I cannot see them, they can still see me! It was quick and the doctors/staff were great and I could see clearly by 3:00 p.m. Amazing.

After 32 years in practice, it is with mixed emotions that I have decided to retire from the
clinical practice of ophthalmology and LASIK surgery. It has been a great pleasure for me to
provide and serve you with your eye care needs.

Dr. Charles A. Garcia, Dr. Scott E. Segal and Dr. Ricardo N. Sepulveda will take over my
clinical practice, continuing my tradition of the highest quality eye care. I have had the
pleasure of working and collaborating with Dr. Garcia for 35 years and Dr. Segal for 15 years
and am personally aware of the dedication to quality care of their entire group. The group
consists of highly trained ophthalmologists and optometrists that have subspecialties in the
areas of retina, corneal diseases, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology,
and ophthalmic plastics and cosmetic surgery as well as the newest advanced contact lens
technology.

I have greatly valued the relationship I have had with all my patients and thank you for your
